Tolland Conservation Commission Hearing Minutes
Pursuant to Chapter 131, Section 40 MGL, the Tolland Conservation Commission held a public hearing on December 22, 2010, at Tolland Town Hall, 241 West Granville Rd, Tolland.
Members Present: Alan Binder, Bryan Perry, Sue Voudren & Valerie Bird
Others Present: W. L. Gilbert, Bonnie Gilbert, Ted Babbit, Penny Babbitt, Frank Caro, Anita Caro, Anthony Considine, Chris Litchfield of Christopher Bryant Co and Cheryl Binder.
Public Hearing opened at 5:30 p.m.
- 82 Porcupine Point – Applicant Lurraine Parmelee seeks one foot separation variance to ground water.
Questions were raised and discussions in regard to:
Run off with erosion from the mound.
Access for machinery/trucks.
Large tree needs to be removed in access area.
Location of the new septic tank.
Silt fence, straw bales or waddles.
Replanting plan for end of construction.
The Engineer will be providing clarification/answers to all questions to be reviewed and discussed by the board at continuation of hearing.
Continuation of Hearing to be Tuesday January 4th, 2011 at 5:30 p.m.
